Time & access control terminal

onPoint

The time-clock terminal that adapts to every site, integrated into Genetec Security Center.

The problem

A time-clock terminal isn’t one product — it’s many.

Every site needs to show and record different things: clock-in actions, buttons and hierarchy change from one company to the next. A closed terminal forces you to settle for the factory buttons and to buy a different model whenever your needs change.

onPoint is a single terminal that adapts to each case: from defining the whole screen in Genetec to starting from a preset configuration and just editing the labels.

How the plugin works

A screen that adapts to every company

The screen adapts to the level each company needs. On some installations it’s configured entirely from the plugin —buttons, sub-buttons and each site’s clocking hierarchy—; on others the structure is preset and you just edit the button labels. Always without changing the hardware, and editable whenever needed.

Everything is managed from the Security Center entity tree. The plugin processes reader events and forwards them to Genetec for recording and reporting, and scales through additional SDK connections.

Reader tailored to each client

Same terminal and plugin; the reader changes

STid Architect Blue

MIFARE DESFire and mobile credential over Bluetooth/NFC. For ecosystems with end-to-end managed credential security.

HID Signo 20

Multi-technology reader with mobile credential and Apple Wallet support. For heterogeneous card fleets.

Time recording

Electronic, traceable and tamper-proof

Records the working day electronically, traceable and tamper-proof. Meets the requirement in force in Spain since 2019 (RDL 8/2019).

Ready for the upcoming mandatory digital time-recording, now in the legislative pipeline.
